Almost forgot:

I bought them from Modushop in Italy. Great cases for a very nice price.

Waldorfcave, this combination wasn't used on any of my projects yet. I always try to make my gear a bit different looking, i don't like having rack fulls of gear which looks the same.

If Bernd needs only one, and the other is still left, I would have a use for the other...

Kann mir jemand in deutsch und für blöde mal den Unterschied zwischen normalen t4b und der "fast" Version erklären?

Ist letztere besser für Percussion bzw. halt Sachen mit knackiger Attack-Phase geeignet? :?

Hi All,

(my first post here)

Re the 2LA2, Meter switch - GR / Output +4,

on the PCB labelled GAIN RED its has a 2 contact plug, but on the circuit diagram shows a double pole switch, how are you doing this with only two contacts?

Is there a PCB Layout Drawing with the PCB tracks drawn?

all the best

Pete

Hi Pete,

welcome here at Franks place :D

you have the GR connector (2 contacts), and you have a separated VU connector (2 contacts). you wire both to a 2 pole toggle switch, and from there (through a 3K6 resistor at +) to the Meter.

does this answer your question ?

ah! i knew i was being stupid! of course yes im with you now.

Also I was thinking about bringing the Zero Adj and the Stereo Adj to the front panel for easy adjustment, do you fore see a problem with this, as long as the cable is shielded should be fine?

Thanks Volker,
Pete

I see no problem doing this

Hey Volker

I have a couple of questions to finish mine up.

- which side is the + on the VU and Gain red outputs?
- What are those diodes strapped across the relays?
- Earlier you mentioned the pots are all one-to-one mapping but what is pin 1 and pin3 , relative to the screw in the screen?

I will fire mine up tonight I think!

looking IN FRONT of the molex = 1 (left) 2 (middle) 3 (right)
in example, the gain pot:
put it on the left side, facing the pins downside, looking to the molex, wire it 1:1

hope this helps

fire it up :D

Basically the +/- on the VU or Gain Reduction meter pins
Also the following labels. Think I understand what you mean but a picture is better
