Sehr cool! Und mittlerweile hast du design-mässisch einen eigenen "Style" gefunden.
Außerdem schön, nicht überall die gleichen vorgefertigten Gehäuse- bzw. Frontplattendesigns zu sehen.

EDIT: Upps, english thread...

Bernd!
That looks nice! Mine is soon to come ...

I have one question concerning power supply again:

My current torriod when I put a dummy load on the 6.3VAC tap and setup a current draw of 3.5 amps the voltage dropped (IR drop) to almost 6VAC is this still ok for the tube heaters?

thoughts? I think it should be fine, what do you guys think?

Anyone have some thought on my question above. I need to order my power trannys to finish both this and the Analag.

Thanks guys

I could live with 6V :D
and I don't think the 0,3 V difference is a problem - you have more tolerance on the primary.

btw, why is it 12V in series, not 12,6V ?

I don't understand the question

Here is the transformer I picked out
http://www.antekinc.com/AN-1T250.pdf

AN-1T250 $29.00 USD

250 0 250 VAC
6.3 @ 3amps (tested this coil at 3.5amp saw drop to just above 6VAC)
12.6 @ 2 amps

The price is good since I need 3 of them! (2-STLA2A and 1-Analag)
I am going to have 2 versions of the ST LA2A one with real T4bs and one with Vactrols either the VTL5c4/2 or the VTL5C3/2 depending on the testing.

the question was:
why should 6V be a problem, but 12V (in Gyrafs G9 and some Manley Gear) isn't ?
go for it :D

Here is mine, although it's not ready yet.

Wiring for iron still needs to be done, the power transformer is missing, as well as the meters and 2 tubes are backordered.

nice one - but your 2254 looks more impressive

where did you buy the cases ? I like the ventilation holes.

holy crap, Flo did you build the 2254 from wonderland parts?

Well it looks a bit decieving. Actually the 2254 is not ready yet. Both those units are the units i am working on right now.
There is still quite some work left on the 2254 (which will use the wonderland parts). Boards are 95% populated, switches and case is ready. I still need to buy all transformers besides the outputs. (now this will get expensive  ) So what's then left is to stick all the boards inside the case and do all the wiring. I am already wondering how this will turn out
