Frontpanel Designing with printed Foils
- Make your Frontpanel Layout with a Graphic programm (corel draw www.corel.com , Photoshop www. adobe.com, Frontpaneldesigner www.abacom-online.de ...)
- Print the Foil mirrored on a transparent foil. Mirrored because the surface is is then on the underside and protectet against scratches. Before printing on transparent foil... do a test print on normal paper if you want.
- Now you have to place a double glueing special transparency foil on the frontpanel. Thats a foil where glue is on both sides of the foil. You’ll get this in an electronic shop.
- Now you can place the printed foil with the writing to the panel on the glue surface. So it is protected against scratches an rubbing.
- If you have holes on the panel for potentiometers and switches.. cut the foil with a scalpel or a carpet knife.
